Direct Primary Care (DPC) allows doctors to spend more time doing the things that matter: taking care of your family. By choosing not to accept insurance, DPC doctors can see fewer patients and offer many services for the price of a predictable monthly membership.
With longer visits, predictable costs, minimal wait times, and direct access to the doctor, DPC is changing the healthcare landscape. It is patient-centered healthcare, not governed by insurance companies.
A monthly membership fee gives your child access to Dr. Watson for scheduled well-visits, unexpected sick visits, and visits for many other common pediatric questions, concerns, and illnesses. For more significant procedures like stitches, small charges may apply for materials used - but never for the visit itself.
DPC is NOT a replacement for insurance. Instead, it’s a way for patients to regain control of their care for everyday problems. Insurance is still highly recommended to cover you in the case of unexpected, serious, or chronic conditions, but you might not need a low deductible if your kids are seeing a DPC doctor for most of their visits.
